Principal Global Investors names Jane Fung as head of funds distribution Asia

In a release, Principal Global Investors, a leading global asset manager and a member of the Principal Financial Group announces that it has appointed Jane Fung as Director, Head of Funds Distribution Asia.

Fung will officially join the firm on 3 October 2013.

Based in Hong Kong, Fung will be responsible for leading Principal Global Investors’ UCITS and QIF funds distribution efforts in Asia by developing and growing the Firm’s relationships with key intermediaries, including IFAs, fund selectors and key investment platforms, across asset classes.

Fung will report to Kirk West, Principal Global Investors’ Executive Director International Investments and Andrea Muller, Chief Executive Asia. Currently there are 29 funds offered by 10 boutiques of Principal Global Investors and the total assets under management of the firm were USD289.1 billion as of 30 June 2013.
