BNY Mellon names Kriesel Hong Kong country exec, GM
Rosemarie Kriesel is BNY Mellon's new country executive and general manager for the Hong Kong branch.

Kriesel has over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry and has played a key role in developing BNY Mellon's business in Asia-Pacific in her position as head of Global Client Management for Hong Kong.
In addition to her client-facing responsibilities, Kriesel has been instrumental in the development of BNY Mellon's employee engagement programme across Asia-Pacific. Kriesel serves as Chair of BNY Mellon's Asia-Pacific Women's Initiatives Network (WIN) affinity network, Chair of the firm's Hong Kong Employee Engagement Committee and is a member of the Asia-Pacific Employee Engagement Committee. Kriesel is also very active in BNY Mellon's philanthropic programme in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2005, Kriesel, a qualified Canadian Chartered Accountant, held a number of senior positions at global financial institutions in Bermuda, Luxembourg and most recently Hong Kong where she has been based since 1993.
