Takaful Ehsan to expand branch offices for marketing

ING Public Takaful Ehsan Bhd will expand its operations by opening more marketing branch offices nationwide from early next year.

Its chief executive officer, Saiful Yazan Ahmad said at the initial stage the company is targeting to establish offices in several states in the north and east including Terengganu and Kedah.

With the opening of more branch offices, he said the company would be able to achieve the target of RM90 million in premium contribution from policy holders by year-end.

He was speaking to Bernama after launching the latest product, Investment-Linked Takaful Education (ILT-Education) and the first marketing branch office at Jalan Sri Cemerlang, here today.

"Since our establishment in April last year, we were focusing more on the infrastructure and were only able to collect RM14 million.

"However, until August this year, we were able to increase collection to RM50 million. With the establishment of a few more branches next year, we are confident of being able to surpass the target by several folds," he said.

Two branch offices that are expected to be opened in the near future are in Kemaman, Terengganu and Sungai Petani, Kedah, he said.
