MAAKL declares distribution for three funds
Providing a lower level of risk.
This is what MAAKL money market and bond products provide for investors who are less concerned about capital appreciation.
Said investors who maintained their units of three such MAAKL products, namely, the MAAKL Money Market Fund, MAAKL Bond Fund and MAAKL As-Saad as of Oct 31, 2012 are entitled to the gross distributions.
MAAKL has declared gross distributions for MAAKL Money Market of 3.1 sen with a 3.01 per cent yield, while the MAAKL Bond Fund and MAAKL As-Saad has gross distributions of 3.5 sen and four sen respectively with 4.07 per cent and 3.52 per cent yield each.
MAAKL chief executive officer and executive director, Wong Boon Choy said, “As at Oct 12, 2012, the above three funds delivered a three-year return of 7.82 per cent, 13.81 per cent and 14.17 per cent respectively.
“These returns certainly show that MAAKL is committed to continuously provide consistent, reasonable and stable income distributions by investing mainly in short-term money market instruments, bonds and other fixed income securities for investors who prefer a lower level of risk and are less concerned about capital appreciation.”
