Maybank Investment Bank Bhd is listing eight new European style cash-settled structured warrants over ordinary shares.
The focus of this batch of call warrants was plantation sector as plantation companies were set to gain on higher crude palm oil prices following an overall slower output growth and further downgrades in the soybean crops.
The shares are from Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd, Genting Plantations Bhd, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd, Kulim (Malaysia) Bhd and QL Resources Bhd.
The warrants will have tenures of 12 months each, with the exception of FGV, which has a tenure of eight, 10, 12 and 15 months, the investment bank said in a statement.
The warrants will be listed with an issue size of 100 million each.
