According to a release, Altius Associates Ltd. has appointed Mr. Peter Pfister as a Partner and Head of Asia-Pacific. Mr. Pfister will be based in the Singapore office, reporting to Brad Young, Head of Investments.

Mr. Young said: "We are very pleased to have secured Peter, an experienced and knowledgeable investment professional, with many years' experience in global private markets to lead our Asian Investment business.

His experience in the Asian private equity sector, and his knowledge of buyout, venture and growth capital in the region made him an ideal candidate for this important role. We looked long and hard for a leader to fit our needs, and I am very gratified that we have been able to attract someone of Peter's calibre."

Mr. Pfister said: "I am very happy to be joining Altius Associates, whose quality and professionalism have long been known in the industry.

There are great opportunities within the Asian investment markets, as well as increasing global private equity allocations from Asian investors, and I look forward to expanding the firm's business across the region."
