bolttech, Globe Telecom launch annual phone upgrade programme

Flagship Forever will allow eligible customers to upgrade their smartphones every year without paying pretermination fees.

Singapore-headquartered insurtech firm bolttech and the Philippines' Globe Telecom have announced the launch of Flagship Forever, a new device upgrade programme aimed at giving customers easier access to the latest smartphones.

Launched in August and available at Globe stores nationwide, as well as through relationship managers for Platinum subscribers, Flagship Forever will allow eligible customers to upgrade their smartphones every year without paying pretermination fees.

Customers can trade in their existing device and move to a new flagship model as early as the 12th month of their current contract.

Key features of the programme include annual upgrades to the latest devices from brands such as Samsung and Apple, device protection services covering screen repairs and replacements, and flexible plan options.

Selected plans also offer one month free and add-on upgrade options for specific tiers, including Plans P2499 and P3799.
