BSN to boost wealth management business

BSN to boost wealth management business

Bank Simpanan Nasional would assign more personnel to handle  its wealth management products and services from 96 now to 350 by year-end.

This was revealed by BSN Chief Executive Datuk Adinan Maning today.

BSN has enrolled 15,000 customers in its wealth management business since its introduction last year.

"With seven million customers we have from the bank, we will try to progress and get the best out of it," he told reporters after the launch of BSN's wealth management solutions by Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin here.

Awang Adek said the launch of BSN wealth management services would allow more Malaysians to manage their money more efficiently and raise public awareness about financial planning and wealth management.

"Wealth management used to be something for the rich. But now, this is becoming more and more relevant to almost everybody.

"It will be a big thing in the future. So, the earlier we get the common Malaysians to be aware and to involve in this the better," he said.
