BNP Paribas eyes the affluent of Asia

BNP Paribas eyes the affluent of Asia

BNP Paribas will now offer affluent clients a new range of investment solutions from Singapore with its Personal Investors' services. It will operate as a department of BNP Paribas Wealth Management Singapore branch through two dedicated teams—one focusing on Asian clients, and the other on Asia-based European clients. Both teams will offer clients the possibility of booking in Singapore and in Europe with a wide range of investment solutions.

With an investment starting at US$171,526, clients will have access to a wide range of products and markets, and will also be able to take advantage of appropriate advice provided by an experienced and dedicated team of advisors.

BNP Paribas Personal Investors' Global Head, Olivier Le Grand, believes that the time has come to penetrate Asian markets: "We clearly see Asia as a very important region for our business as it combines both high savings potential and long-term growth. Given the current complex market environment, clients not only seek expertise and tailor-made investment solutions that meet their needs, but also want to entrust their assets to financial institutions with strong foundations."

Philippe Zawada, Head of BNP Paribas Personal Investors in South-East Asia, based in Singapore, adds, "Our idea is quite innovative: to ensure that affluent clients are able to benefit from high-end solutions through a truly personalised service by giving them access to a selection of products including deposits, foreign exchange, equities, bonds, funds and structured products."
