UBS appoints Anderson to head Fixed Income, APAC

UBS Global Asset Management appointed Anne Anderson as Head of Fixed Income, Asia Pacific. Anne has been with the firm since 1993 and Head of Fixed Income, Australia since 2004.

"Anne's expanded Asia Pacific role recognises her strong contribution to the fixed income activities in APAC and to the fixed income business more generally. This new regional role will provide an excellent opportunity for Anne to expand her capabilities while bringing the benefit of her extensive experience to our APAC business," commented Paul Bolinowsky, Head of Global Asset Management Australia.

Anne will remain based in Australia and will continue to head the Australian Fixed Income business with the ongoing support of a team of eight portfolio management, credit and economic research professionals. In addition, Takashi Asano, Head of Fixed Income, Japan and Ben Yuen, Head of Pan Asia Fixed Income will report to her.

Anne will report to Rob Gambi, Global Head of Fixed Income who is based in London. Rob commented, "Anne and her team are part of the global structure of Fixed Income and have the support of all global functions including research. Fixed Income works as a global platform to deliver Fixed Income investment solutions for all UBS Global Asset Management's client segments."
