Société Générale launches GCM platform in APAC

Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking is extending Global Capital Markets (GCM) to the Asia Pacific region with the launch of a GCM platform.

Led by Yves Jacob, the Asian business will provide integrated debt and equity solutions to issuers willing to access public primary euro markets.

The extension of Global Capital Markets to the Asia Pacific region enhances the Capital Raising and Financing service range in the region to offer solutions across the issuers to investors continuum. The Asian based team will add to the existing global network that spans across Europe, Americas and Middle East, and will provide solutions to corporations, financial institutions and public sector entities.

Yves Jacob was previously Director of the French Corporate Origination team based in Paris before relocating to Hong Kong. He jointly reports to Ashley Wilkins, Head of Capital Raising and Financing for Asia Pacific and Jean-Marc Giraud, Global Head of GCM based in Paris.
